How Do I Login to SmartRent?

If you are a resident with the SmartRent system installed in your home, you have two options to log in to your account: through a web browser or through our mobile app.

If SmartRent has not yet been installed in your unit, or if you have not yet been moved-in by your management office, you will not be able to sign-in to SmartRent until this process is complete.

Upon move-in, or when the installation is complete, you will receive an email with the subject line Welcome to SmartRent prompting you to create a password, download our mobile app and login.


To log-in via the mobile app

  1. Download SmartRent from your phone's app store ( this will be the Apple App Store if you have an iOS device ).
  2. Open the app.
  3. Enter your log-in email and password.
  4. Tap Sign In.

To log-in via web browser

  1. Go to and click login in the top right corner of the web page.
  2. Enter your log-in email and password.
  3. Click sign in.

Note: The browser version of SmartRent only supports a few basic features - controlling your devices remotely, executing scenes, enabling security features like 2FA, and viewing your resident code. For access to the full suite of SmartRent features (such as creating new scenes, setting up device schedules, creating guest codes and resetting your resident code), you will need to download and use the SmartRent app.
