How Do I Monitor My Leak Sensor Activity In the SmartRent Mobile App?

Leak sensors alert you to any possible leaks in your home. These alerts give you and your community maintenance teams an opportunity to address the issue protecting you, your home, and the community from any catastrophic damage. Monitor the water fixtures in your home easily with leak sensors and the SmartRent Mobile App. 

 

Monitoring Your Leak Sensor’s Activity:

To monitor your Leak Sensor’s Activity in the SmartRent Mobile App, follow these steps:

  1. Tap on your Sensors on the dashboard under My Devices
  2. Tap on your Leak Sensor
  3. Tap ⋮ 
  4. Tap Activity
  5. View your Leak Sensor Activity from the Activity menu

In the event of a water leak, you will receive an email notifying you a leak was detected and a work order will be automatically created for your community maintenance team. When you receive the email, check your Leak Sensor to confirm the leak. If there is no leak or the leak is minor (i.e. a small spill), you can tap the False Alarm button in the email to cancel the work order. The Hub and sensor must be online in order to receive this notification.
