How to Edit Notification Settings

You have the option of receiving notifications when a Guest Code and Maintenance Code are used on the lock, as well as Alerts (such as an alert sent by a sensor when a leak is detected). 

To edit your Notification Settings log into your SmartRent app, then proceed with the following steps based on the device you are using. 

For Android devices

1. Tap on the three stacked lines on the top left of the screen stacked_lines.PNG

2. Click on Settings

3. Tap on Notifications

4. If the settings appear in green as shown below, this indicates that you are opted into receiving these notifications

For iOS devices 

1. Tap on More in the bottom right-hand corner of your phone screen More_Tab_-_iOS.PNG

2. Click on Settings

 3. Tap on Notifications

4. If the settings appear in green as shown below, this indicates that you are opted into receiving these notifications

Please note: Notifications will appear in your drop-down menu or the locked screen of your phone. Once you read or clear your screen, the notification will disappear and is no longer visible.
