Change Sign In Preferences and View Privacy Policy
At SmartRent we take the safety and security of residents very seriously. That is why, by default, your app will sign you out after 5 minutes of inactivity or if you have completely closed out the app. However, we understand that this level of security can cause somewhat of an inconvenience for some residents, which is why we also give you the ability to stay signed in.
To view the Sign-In Preferences, you will first need to log in to your app then proceed with the following steps based on your device.
iOS Devices
1. Select More on the bottom right-hand corner of your phone screen
2. Select Settings
3. Select Login & Security
4. In this section, you will find our Privacy Policy as well as your Sign-In Preferences
5. Once you select Sign In Preferences, you can adjust if you would like the app to automatically sign you out after five (5) minutes, or if you would like to stay signed in. We recommend you opt to stay signed in if you have a password or some other security measure already on your phone since the app does allow you to lock/unlock your front door. The Fingerprint Login option will only be listed on phones that support this feature.
Android Devices
1. Tap on the three stacked lines on the top left of the screen
2. Click on Settings
3. Tap on Login & Security
4. In this section, you will find our Privacy Policy as well as your Sign In Preferences
